Dr Tuba Dacron Adhesive Tape

Got a small split in your leading edge or some pin holes you don’t want to get worse and it’s not big enough to warrant a professional repair?

Dr Tuba sticky backed Dacron is the answer!

Dacron strip with a very sticky acrylic adhesive back.

A repair for small holes and pin pricks. Perfect to keep in your kite kit to save a session and if used with Aquasure PU Glue, and Dr Tuba FibreFIX can repair bigger splits and tears too.

The pack contains one Dacron tape 5cm wide by 150cm long plus two alcohol wipes*.

*Pieces sold without alcohol wipes in multiples of 10cm lengths. If you require 5cm x 30cm add 3 to the basket, if you needed 5cm x 60cm add 6 to the basket.
Longest length available is 5cm x 150cm. (full roll)

How to:

1. Cut off any fabric threads from the damaged section (if any)
2. Clean the area with alcohol wipes and leave to air-dry
3. Cut the tape to desired length and round the edges
4. Peel & stick the tape over the tear overlapping it by at least 2cm
5. Firmly press the tape and remove all air bubbles

Glue the tape edges with a thin layer of Aquasure PU glue when working on uneven sections otherwise the tape can peel off.
